UPMC Italy is issuing a call for applications for the following fixed-term position: 3 Radiotherapy Technicians (Ref. TdR UPMC/18 TD)
UPMC Italy is a company operating in the field of patient care, biomedical research and telemedicine. UPMC Italy also provides professional and operations management services and consulting to develop clinical and research activities. UPMC Italy offers professional opportunities in an international and multicultural setting at an advanced radiotherapy center. Under the supervision of the radiation oncologist, the Radiotherapy Technician administers radiotherapy treatments to patients.
The Radiotherapy Technician performs the simulations ensuring the patients’ comfort and treatment reproducibility, is accountable for the delivery of the plan of treatment generated according to the acquired images, and collaborates with the multidisciplinary group (which includes the radiation oncologist, the medical physicist, and the nurse) to manage patients during their treatment.
- Degree in Medical Radiologic Technology recognized in Italy, or equivalent title.
- Enrollment in the Board of Radiology Technicians.
- Knowledge of linear accelerator and Varian® network, including the ECLIPSE® planning system.
- Ability to solve main technical problems related to equipment.
The ideal candidate is English proficient and is familiar with the main MS-Office software; teamwork and stress management skills complete the role.
The workplace is in the Province of Avellino.
